Policy and Pricing
| Deposit & Payment: Contract Agreement All commissioned projects require a signed commission contract before work begins. The contract outlines the scope of work, payment terms, timeline expectations, copyright ownership, and client responsibilities. A deposit and signed contract are both required to secure your commission. Deposit & Payment A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total commission price is needed to reserve your project and secure your place on my schedule. Work will not begin until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due upon finishing the artwork and before delivery or shipment. Artwork will not be released until full payment has been made. Deposits will only be refunded if I am unable to finish the commission within a reasonable timeframe. Booking & Agreement By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms outlined in this policy. Timeline & Creative Process Each piece is created with care, intention, and emotional depth. Estimated finish timelines will be discussed before booking and can vary depending on size, complexity, and current workload. All finish dates are estimates. Delays occur due to material availability, creative process requirements, or unforeseen circumstances. Clients are responsible for providing timely responses to progress updates. Delayed communication may result in extended timelines. Customization & Price Adjustments Once the size, concept, and details are agreed upon, any additional requests or changes may result in a price increase. All price adjustments will be communicated and approved before additional work begins. Cancellations & Changes All deposits are non-refundable. Once work has begun, commissions cannot be canceled or significantly altered. This policy protects the time, materials, and creative labor invested in your piece. Shipping & Delivery Shipping is not included unless otherwise stated. For clients outside of Fort Wayne, shipping costs will be calculated after finishing and billed separately. All artwork is packaged with care. Tracking information will be provided once sent. Within My Gifts is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by shipping carriers. Local pickup may be arranged when available. Payment Plans Payment plans may be offered on a case-by-case basis and must be approved before booking. Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in forfeiture of the deposit and artwork. Copyright & Usage Within My Gifts retains all copyrights to commissioned artwork. I reserve the right to photograph and share completed work for portfolio, website, exhibition, and promotional purposes. Buying of artwork does not transfer reproduction or commercial rights unless otherwise agreed in writing. Final Note Thank you for trusting Within My Gifts with your vision.
