“Lost HER: Found HER – Coming May 7th.”

Some journeys are hard to see from the inside. Some stories are lived before they are told.

On May 7th, my newest book, Lost HER: Found HER, will be released on Amazon—a collection of poems and reflections exploring loss, reclamation, and the courage to find oneself.

Each page is a conversation between words and emotion, echoing the colors and energy of my visual art. This book is a journey, and I hope it resonates with yours. This book is not gender-specific; HER is me, but HER is also anyone who might relate to my poetry.

Mark your calendars, and stay tuned for a special gallery event in June, where you can experience the book alongside live poetry, music, and my artwork.

Artist’s Philosophy

Art is the language of the soul and a bridge between the inner world and lived reality. As Within My Gifts, I create work rooted in emotional truth, identity, and cultural affirmation. Through bold color, expressive forms, and layered textures, I explore presence, inner power, and the beauty of becoming.

My work reflects moments of feeling, memory, and self-recognition. Each piece is an invitation to slow down, to connect, and to see beyond the surface. I am especially interested in honoring Black womanhood, emotional depth, and spiritual grounding, translating the intangible into something visible and resonant.

Art, for me, is both expression and connection. My practice is a living journey of growth and discovery, and every piece is an offering from that unfolding.
